OUR SHIPPING POLICY
Please be aware you are responsible for your final product selection, regardless of recommendations made to you. You must ensure that your products are the correct size, model, efficiency, and comply with the needs of your situation. Orders over $150 will receive a 10% shipping credit. This means that when you spend $1000 we will contribute $100 towards shipping your product to you. The remaining balance for shipping costs that exceed 10% of the total order will be billed to credit card. We do not charge extra "handling or processing fees". Our shipping costs only include the actual amount to ship the items (boxes, tape, and labor are free). We ship in plain boxes and ship freight wrapped in black plastic. Orders under $150 will be charged minimum base rate of $15. This charge includes a handling and processing fee for small orders. All orders under $150 are subject to additional freight charges if the shipping costs exceed $15. Common items that incur extra shipping are fluorescent bulbs and media like rock or dirt. New Customers - Please be advised that all orders over $100.00 require a signature at delivery unless you waive the signature in the notes field when you place an order. If your billing address is different from your shipping address we will require a front and back copy of the credit card faxed to (512)727-0387 ...otherwise we will only ship to the billing address. These procedures are to protect the credit cardholder. Heavy or oversized items often incur additional shipping costs and must be shipped as ground freight. If the shipping costs exceed 10% of the total order, Texas Hydroponics & Organics will bill the credit card on account for additional costs. Texas Hydroponics & Organics will ship your order as economically as possible. Our discounts with FedEx, R&L, and SAIA Motor Freight are incredible so please don't worry, we will work to find the most economical method possible. Please notice that a $30 residential fee will be applied to all freight shipments to a home. This fee is charged by the freight company for scheduling delivery, we do not keep this fee as our own. Schedule your delivery when you will be there to inspect CLOSELY and sign for your shipment. All damage must be noted on the "freight bill" and a copy provided to us so that we may handle the claims process. The freight company will call you to make sure you are available to receive the shipment prior to bringing a truck into your neighborhood. Any commercial delivery address which is able to receive during the business week will not be charged this fee. Please leave a message in the customer notes section of your order if you are sending to a commercial address. You may also avoid this fee by notifying us that you would like to pick up the freight at your local shipping terminal. How to receive your freight and what to expect: The freight company will deliver your products to the end of your driveway. Please be prepared to move the freight to its necessary location. Do not allow a freight driver to rush you through inspection. Once your shipment is on the ground, count the number of pallets. Inspect each carton and piece of equipment on the pallet/s. Look closely for any damage at this point. Look carefully for shrink wrap that is falling off, missing, torn or has holes in it. Run your hands along the top, sides, and bottom of your equipment to check for dents or punctures. Damage can result if your equipment was stacked, hit by other freight or puntured by a forklift truck. Inspect underneath any packaging with damage, no matter how slight the damage. Document any damage to the packaging on your delivery receipt. If you note all packaging damage, it will prevent future disputes with a carrier in the case that a product underneath the packaging is damaged. Document any pallet or product shortages on your delivery receipt. The delivery receipt is a legal, binding document. If you sign the receipt without adding any comments, you are acknowledging that you are taking ownership of the correct number of pallets with no damage to the packaging or products. Only sign the delivery receipt without adding comments if you are 100% sure that there is no shipping damage to the packaging or products. YOU ARE LIABLE FOR DAMAGE OR SHORTAGES NOT NOTED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. If you receive a piece of equipment with cosmetic damage, take delivery of it after noting the damage on the delivery receipt. You will receive a cash settlement to compensate. If you receive a unit with severe damage, refuse the damaged item. Document the delivery receipt with the reason for refusal. Always take delivery of undamaged products, even if they are on the same pallet as a damaged product. Additional shipping fees incurred due to customer error are the responsibility of the customer. These errors are most commonly the result of incomplete or incorrect shipping information so make sure to include full street names, apartments numbers, etc. Charges for re-delivery will be charged to the customer. All shipping quotes are for FedEx or Ground Freight. Small package FedEx shipments will be delivered without appointments and require signature. All shipping quotes are for the Continental US only. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and abroad will likely incur additional shipping costs. If paying by Credit Card, the shipping address must be verifiable with the issuing bank of the card. If it is not, orders will be shipped to the billing address if it can be verified as legitimate by the issuing bank. To add an alternative address (very easy) call issuing card company before processing your order. Orders cancelled by the customer will incur a 20% restocking fee. Customer will be responsible for any shipping cost incurred for items that have shipped and the cost to have them returned to our warehouse. Texas Residents will be charged a 8.25% Sales Tax. |

RETURN POLICY
Non-Defective items must have been purchased within 14 days of return date ONLY. If the item(s) is unopened and not damaged, you will receive a store credit for purchase price minus 20% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for safe return of product and shipping charges to and from Texas Hydroponics & Organics. Defective items returned within 30 days are eligible for exchange when accompanied by a receipt and the original packaging. We cannot accept returns on items that could have been tampered with such as nutrients, pH adjusters, cloning gels, beneficial insects, and pesticides. Special order items do not qualify for returns. DO NOT ACCEPT packages that arrive damaged or appear to have been tampered with! Immediately notify UPS that you are refusing the package and give it back to the driver. Damages that occur during shipment are the responsibility of the shipping company. Please do not wait to report damage during shipping! We cannot accept returns on lamps or glass that are cracked/broken after delivery has been completed. Please check your package thoroughly to ensure that it has arrived intact. Return Procedure: Before sending back any returns, you must first call us to receive an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). If this number is not written on the box, we will not accept delivery of the package. Call us at 1-866-25-HYDRO to obtain your RMA#. |
